The Finance Senior Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Finance and Accounting Department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Finance and Accounting Department.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), General Ledger, payroll, and taxation activities.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with different departments regarding financial concerns and operational requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy or related course
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare management reports.
- Strong knowledge of Financial Statement (FS) preparation and financial reporting.
- Knowledgeable in payroll processing, Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and taxation.
- Knowledgeable in the manufacturing accounting cycle and cost accounting processes.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with different departments regarding financial matters.
- At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven experience in financial statement preparation and financial reporting.
- Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.
Other Requirements
- Willing to start immediately.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with 2 alternating Saturday (7:30 am - 4:30 pm)
