Veterinarian

Are you passionate about wildlife conservation and technological innovation? Yayasan Jejak Pulang, located in East Kalimantan, Indonesia, is seeking for a passionate and dedicated Veterinarian to join our team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine

• Minimum 2 years experience in veterinary medicine (experience in wildlife conservation and rehabilitation is a strong advantage)

• Strong veterinary clinical skills including diagnosis, treatment, and emergency care

• Knowledge of government regulations on animal health.

• Medical inventory and administration management skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Adaptive and committed to continuous learning in veterinary science.

• Strong stress management and adaptability in field conditions.

• High integrity, detail-oriented, organized, and systematic work style.

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

• Passion for animal welfare, open-mindedness toward behavioral science and ethology.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) for internal communication, documentation, and collaboration with external veterinary partners.

• Willing to live to Samboja, East Kalimantan

Desirable  :

1. Experience with Primate Care: Previous experience working with primates, especially orangutans, or a solid understanding of their health and behavior.  

2. Fieldwork Experience: Experience or comfort with fieldwork, including working in remote or challenging environments.  

3. Research Interest: A demonstrated interest in contributing to veterinary research or wildlife conservation efforts.
