About the role

Arke Studio is seeking a talented Drafter to join our growing team in Bali. This is a full-time position based in our Bali office, where you will play a crucial role in translating architectural concepts and designs into precise technical drawings and documentation. As a Drafter, you will be instrumental in supporting our architects and design team, ensuring that all project specifications are accurately represented and ready for construction. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your technical drafting skills whilst working on diverse and exciting architectural projects in a collaborative and creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and technical documentation using industry-standard CAD software

• Convert architectural sketches and design concepts into accurate, scaled drawings suitable for construction and client presentations

• Develop and maintain drawing standards, ensuring consistency across all project documentation

• Collaborate closely with architects and senior designers to understand project requirements and specifications

• Produce construction documents including plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings

• Prepare drawing sets for building permits, tenders and construction phases

• Update and revise drawings based on design changes, client feedback and site requirements

• Maintain accurate project files and documentation in accordance with studio procedures

• Assist with 3D modelling and visualisation when required to support design communication

• Ensure all drawings comply with local building regulations and industry standards

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD or equivalent architectural drafting programs

• Strong understanding of architectural drawing conventions, standards and building codes

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, clean and professional drawings

• Solid knowledge of architectural design principles and construction methodologies

• Ability to work efficiently and meet tight project deadlines

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Relevant qualification or diploma in architectural drafting, architectural technology or a related field

• 2-3 years of experience in architectural drafting or a related role

• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) software is advantageous

• Experience with architectural visualisation tools such as SketchUp or 3D Studio Max is desirable

• Knowledge of Indonesian building regulations and local construction practices is a plus
