Manual Quality Assurance

Key Responsibilities

• Review business requirements and functional specifications to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

• Execute manual testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, system integration (SIT), smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using defect management tools.

• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Validate defect fixes and conduct re-testing before production deployment.

• Prepare test reports, testing documentation, and quality metrics.

• Support production verification activities and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer, Software Tester, or Quality Assurance Analyst.

• Experience testing enterprise applications, preferably in the financial services, banking, insurance, or multifinance industry.

• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Hands-on experience in designing test cases, executing test plans, and reporting defects.

• Familiar with defect tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.

• Basic knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman is an advantage.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing loan origination, financing, customer management, payment, or collection systems.

• Familiarity with SQL for data validation is a plus.

• Knowledge of test management tools and QA best practices.
