R&D Automotive Electrical Design Engineer – North Jakarta – WFO (ID: 703307)

PERSOLKELLY Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients in an automotive manufacturing company in finding great talent as a R&D Automotive Electrical Design Engineer with the requirement as follows:

Working location:  North Jakarta

Job Responsibility:

• Support the development of automotive electrical systems for new vehicle models and existing products.

• Design and evaluate automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, ECUs, sensors, actuators, and CAN communication systems.

• Prepare and review electrical drawings and technical documentation.

• Conduct testing, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for electrical system-related issues.

• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support engineering development projects.

• Support product improvement initiatives and engineering change activities.

• Ensure project milestones and development timelines are achieved according to schedule.

• Utilize electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, CATIA, or equivalent software.

• Participate in vehicle validation and product evaluation processes.

• Support continuous improvement activities within the engineering department.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering (Automotive).

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in vehicle development engineering.

• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, ECUs, sensors, actuators, and CAN communication.

• Experience in automotive electrical system design and vehicle development.

• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, CATIA, or other equivalent electrical design software.

• Good understanding of automotive product development processes, including design, validation, and product improvement.

• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.

• Experience in new model development or product improvement projects is preferred.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Additional foreign language skills will be an advantage.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, initiative, and sense of responsibility.

• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
