What you'll do
Case Management
- Maintain a caseload of approximately 50-60 personal injury files and manage cases from the point of filing a complaint to its resolution.
- Independently handle the day-to-day calendaring of internal and, external deadlines related to each case being managed.
- Develop case strategy and provide leadership and direction to case managers and intake specialists.
- Regularly consult with clients and third parties to effectively move cases forward and to a successful conclusion.
- Perform monthly case reviews to ensure clients receive proactive communication at least once a month.
- Enter client notes and case relevant details into the Case Management System.
- Conduct intense point-related research and analyze case-specific legal issues to prepare documentation for the managing attorney.
- Prepare legal documents such as complaints, government claims, motions, briefs, and memorandums of law for attorney to review and file or submit.
- Review or prepare responses to discovery demands.
- Prepare for statements/ depositions/mediations/court proceedings.
- E-file all court documents in state and federal court.
- Coordinate the service of summons and complaints.
- Summarize medical records and depositions transcripts.
- Prepare trial binders and exhibits.
- Conduct an evaluation for 998 offers at each stage of litigation.
- Other tasks as requested by the attorney.
Communication
- Work collaboratively with the team, including staff members at all levels of experience and knowledge.
- Cultivate relationships with the Firm's clients.
- Communicate with the managing attorney regarding case load and specific cases requiring further direction.
- Communicate with opposing counsel and court staff.
- Relay any negotiation and settlement offers to client and attorney.
- Adhere to the Firm's policies and procedures,
- Perform 80% of work time as productive billable hours.
- Review and input all pertinent KPIs as set forth by the managing attorney.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury or litigation
- Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) is required
- Strong knowledge of litigation processes, including drafting legal documents, discovery, and trial preparation
- Experience managing a high-volume caseload independently (50+ cases preferred)
- Proficiency with case management systems (e.g., Filevine, Clio, or similar tools)
- Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with personal injury terminology, medical records, and settlement processes is a plus
- Ability to work U.S. business hours (time zone alignment required)
