About the role
We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Auditor to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a crucial role in conducting comprehensive external audits to ensure our clients' financial records and processes are fully compliant and accurately reflected.
What you'll be doing
Performing detailed audits of financial statements and accounting records for a diverse range of clients
Identifying and assessing risks, internal control weaknesses, and potential areas of improvement
Preparing comprehensive audit reports with clear findings, recommendations, and actionable insights
Collaborating with clients to understand their business operations and provide value-added guidance
Supervising and mentoring junior audit team members to ensure quality and consistency
Staying up-to-date with the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices
What we're looking for
5+ years of post-qualification experience in external auditing, preferably within a reputable accounting firm or a large, complex organization
Thorough understanding of Accounting and Audit – External principles, practices, and regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to clients
Proficiency in using audit software and other relevant technology tools
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
A team player with the ability to collaborate and mentor junior team members
