Position: Account Manager – Southeast Asia (Oils & Fats Engineering)


Location: Jakarta, Indonesia


Role Overview:


We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Chinese agricultural and livestock equipment manufacturing company to hire an experienced and results-driven Account Manager to join their Oils & Fats Engineering Company. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering engineered solutions for the oils and fats processing industry across the Southeast Asian region.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in Southeast Asia.

Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, including edible oil refineries, oleochemical plants, and specialty fat producers.

Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term partnerships.

Coordinate with technical and project teams to ensure seamless delivery of engineering solutions, from proposal to commissioning.

Provide market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to support product and service development.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings across the region.

Prepare and present commercial proposals, contracts, and regular performance reports to both clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Chemistry, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the oils and fats, oleochemical, or related process engineering industries.

Proven track record of managing regional accounts and achieving sales growth.

Strong understanding of oils and fats processing technologies, including refining, fractionation, hydrogenation, and interesterification.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other Southeast Asian languages is highly desirable.

Willingness to travel frequently within the Southeast Asia region.

Self-motivated, culturally adaptable, and able to work independently in a matrix organization.
