Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Manager – Timber / Solid Wood Production to lead our wood manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets, product quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the Solid Wood Production Department.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily solid wood production operations.

• Plan and monitor production schedules to achieve delivery targets.

• Improve productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.

• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company standards.

• Manage production manpower and develop team capabilities.

• Optimize machine utilization and production processes.

• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, QA, and Supply Chain.

• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

• Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Wood Technology, Furniture Engineering, Forestry Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in wood furniture manufacturing.

• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in Solid Wood or Timber Production.

• Strong knowledge of solid wood processing and furniture manufacturing.

• Experienced in operating and managing woodworking machinery, including:

  • CNC 5-Axis

  • CNC Router

  • Panel Saw

  • Beam Saw

  • Thickness Planer

  • Surface Planer

  • Moulder

  • Tenoner

  • Mortiser

  • Wide Belt Sander

  • Edge Banding Machine

• Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and Continuous Improvement.

• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Willing to work in Cikarang, West Java.
