Site Quality Inspector

Primary Duties – Interpretation & Translation (70%):

• Provide accurate Chinese-to-Indonesian and Indonesian-to-Chinese interpretation during daily site meetings, coordination sessions, and project discussions.

• Translate project-related documents, including daily reports, meeting minutes, inspection records, and work instructions, between Chinese and Indonesian/English.

• Facilitate clear communication between Chinese management/technical staff and Indonesian site teams, ensuring mutual understanding of project requirements and safety protocols.

• Assist the project manager in preparing bilingual (Chinese/Indonesian/English) correspondence and reports as needed.

Secondary Duties – Site Quality Coordination (30%):

• Support site quality inspections by conducting basic daily walkthroughs and reporting any obvious quality or safety issues to the quality team.

• Assist in coordinating material testing and follow up on test reports, ensuring timely submission to relevant parties.

• Help organize and archive project documents to ensure completeness and traceability for final acceptance and handover.

Qualifications:

• Language: Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English; proficiency in Indonesian is highly preferred.

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree.Engineering, Construction Management is preferred.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

• Strong communication, proactive attitude, ability to work in a multicultural environment, and capacity to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
