Are you a top-performing Manager at a major on-demand platform (like Grab or Gojek) who has hit a career ceiling? Do you feel like your growth is choked by corporate bureaucracy despite your ability to smash targets? We are looking for a hungry, high-execution Head of Sales to spearhead our commercial growth. You will start as a powerhouse team of one, personally driving merchant acquisition and restaurant outreach, with the mandate to build and scale your own sales division as we expand.
What You Will Do
a. Drive Merchant Acquisition: Own the end-to-end sales cycle, focusing heavily on B2B restaurant outreach, merchant onboarding, and strategic partnerships.
b. Build the Playbook: Design, test, and execute localized sales strategies and reverse logistics frameworks tailored to Mecka AI’s unique value proposition.
c. Scale the Team: Move rapidly from individual execution to leadership by hiring, training, and managing a high-performing sales pipeline and future account management teams.
d. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with the founders and product teams to feed market insights back into our AI platform, ensuring our product evolution matches merchant pain points.
Who You Are (Requirements)
a. The Tech Pedigree: You have a solid background working within fast-paced, high-growth technology ecosystems. You know how tech products scale.
b. The On-Demand Background: You are currently (or were recently) a Manager at Grab, Gojek, or a similar tier-1 platform, specifically within GrabFood, GoFood, Merchant Acquisition, or Commercial/Logistics teams.
c. The Domain Expertise: You possess a deep understanding of restaurant outreach, merchant acquisition, or reverse logistics. You know how to talk to merchants, handle objections, and close deals quickly.
d. Experience Floor: Minimum of 2–3 years of solid, fast-tracked experience in B2B sales or account management with a proven track record of hitting and exceeding KPIs.
e. The Startup Grit: You thrive in ambiguity and are ready to commit 50–60 hours per week to build something massive. You prefer velocity and ownership over predictable 9-to-5 comfort.
