CORE PURPOSE:
The Innovation & Learning Technology Coach is responsible for assisting the Assistant Head of Innovation & Learning Technology to plan and implement the vision in innovative technology and learning practices with the aim of developing responsible and global citizens to meet the stated aims of the School’s Guiding Principles, Vision, Mission and Values.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Information Technology, Computer Science or any other relevant discipline.
Recognised teaching qualification relevant to Indonesia (e.g Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and/or Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG), or equivalent) with proven experience teaching in school setting.
Extensive experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in education within a school or educational institution.
Knowledge of inquiry based learning approaches.
Ability to plan and deliver high quality learning experiences across a range of ages.
Ability to build respectful and effective relationships with all students.
In-depth understanding and experience teaching coding and/or robotics to primary school age students.
A solid understanding of Digital Citizenship principles.
Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external parties, including ability to make formal presentations with confidence and impact using appropriate presentation techniques and aids.
Experience managing educational platforms, systems and resources effectively.
Experience in using G-Suite for Education and familiarity with Gemini.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively as a team, and ability to build effective working relationships.
High ethical standards with a strong commitment to legal ethics exhibited in knowledge and practice, and professional responsibility.
Committed to the highest standards of excellence.
Highly self-motivated and able to work to strict deadlines.
High skills in data analysis, and the ability to use data to set targets and identify weaknesses.
Excellent digital literacy in all learning technology devices (Apple iPad and MacBook) and applications used in the school, which includes Google Suite, Apple OS and other applications/softwares.
Desirable:
PostGraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Educational Technology, or a related field.
Certified in various IT applications for learning associated with Apple OS and Google.
Experience working in an SPK, International, or Bilingual School environment.
Experience working within the IB DP or MYP frameworks.
Experience working with the International Primary Curriculum framework.
Experience delivering the Common Sense Media curriculum lessons.
Experience/license in drone flight or aerial photography with drones.
