About the role

We are seeking a Business Consultant Trucks Jakarta to join our dynamic sales team based in Cengkareng, Jakarta Raya. This is a contract position that plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and building strong client relationships within the commercial vehicle sector. As a Business Consultant, you will be instrumental in identifying business opportunities, understanding client needs, and providing tailored truck solutions that align with their operational requirements. This position is essential to expanding our market presence and achieving our sales objectives in the Jakarta region.

Key responsibilities

1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the commercial truck sector within the Jakarta region

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their transportation and logistics needs

3. Provide expert consultation on truck specifications, financing options, and fleet solutions tailored to client requirements

4. Prepare detailed proposals and quotations based on client needs and market conditions

5. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients

6. Negotiate commercial terms and close sales deals to meet and exceed sales targets

7. Collaborate with internal teams including logistics, finance, and after-sales support to ensure seamless client experiences

8. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify strategic opportunities

9. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management

10. Provide feedback to management on market insights and client requirements to inform business strategy

What we're looking for

1. Proven track record of at least 3 years in B2B sales automotive, preferably in the automotive, commercial vehicles, or truck industry

2. Strong understanding of commercial vehicle specifications, financing options, and fleet management

3. Excellent negotiation and closing skills with the ability to manage complex sales cycles

4. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships at all levels

5. Strong communication skills in both Indonesian and English, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly

6. Knowledge of the Jakarta market and established networks within the transport and logistics industry

7. Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office applications

8. Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and ability to work independently

9. Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field

10. Willingness to travel within the Jakarta region for client meetings and demonstrations
