About the role
We are seeking an experienced Interpreter & GA Supervisor to join our team in Cikarang Pusat, Jawa Barat. This is a full-time position that combines language expertise with general administrative and facilities management responsibilities. As Interpreter & GA Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between our international and local teams whilst overseeing general administrative operations. This position is integral to maintaining smooth day-to-day operations and ensuring effective collaboration across all levels of the organisation.
Key responsibilities
Provide accurate and professional interpretation services for meetings, discussions, and communications between Japanese and Indonesian stakeholders
Supervise and manage general administrative staff and coordinate their daily tasks and activities
Oversee facilities management, maintenance and cleanliness standards across office premises
Handle administrative documentation, record-keeping, and filing systems
Organize and coordinate office events, meetings, and travel arrangements
Manage office supplies inventory and procurement processes
Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations in administrative matters
Support human resources with orientation and administrative documentation for new employees
Monitor and maintain office security, access control, and visitor management procedures
What we're looking for
Fluent bilingual proficiency in Japanese minimum N2 level with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience as an interpreter or in a similar translation/communication role within a manufacturing or corporate environment
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in administrative supervision or general affairs management
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with administrative management systems
Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
Ability to work independently and take initiative whilst maintaining professionalism
Knowledge of Japanese business culture and etiquette is highly desirable
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred
