Position: Science Teacher (Primary & Secondary)
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our growing team at GrowEd Learning Center. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and teenagers, can explain scientific concepts clearly, and is committed to helping students develop curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of Science.
Responsibilities:
-Teach Science to primary and/or secondary school students.
-Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and effective lessons.
-Explain scientific concepts through real-life applications, experiments, and inquiry-based learning.
-Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
-Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, practical activities, and learning resources.
-Support students with different learning needs and abilities.
-Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills.
-Maintain a positive, encouraging, and productive classroom environment.
-Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress.
-Participate in curriculum development and academic planning when required.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field.
-Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
-Strong knowledge of Science concepts and curriculum standards.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Passion for teaching and working with children and adolescents.
-Patient, responsible, enthusiastic, and well-organized.
-Ability to motivate and inspire students to develop a love for Science.
-Strong classroom management skills.
-Preferred Qualifications
-Experience teaching Cambridge, Singapore, IB, National, or other international curricula.
-Ability to teach multiple Science disciplines at the primary and secondary levels.
-Experience conducting laboratory activities or hands-on science experiments.
-Familiarity with educational technology and online teaching tools.
-Ability to create engaging, student-centered learning experiences.
