Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Install / Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and repairing telecommunications lines and equipment for both residential and commercial clients. You will play a key role in ensuring stable and efficient connectivity while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Install, splice, and repair telecommunications lines and network equipment
- Set up and configure routers, modems, switches, and related services
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues with speed and accuracy
- Provide on-site technical support and guide customers on how to use services
- Ensure every job is completed efficiently, safely, and with top-quality service
- Maintain clear and accurate work documentation
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification: Telecom or technical certification is an advantage
- Experience: Hands-on experience with telecom equipment, cable testers, crimping tools, and signal meters
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics (e.g., IP addressing, connectivity setup)
- Physical Requirement: Able to climb poles, work at heights, and lift heavy equipment
- License: Must have a valid driver’s license and must be able to drive.
