Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

As a Project-Based Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our AI-powered Knowledge Base platform. You'll tackle complex technical challenges, improve system performance, and ensure the reliability of backend services while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang (Fiber) or Node.js (NestJS).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues, including performance bottlenecks, debugging, and production incidents.
• Optimize system architecture, microservices, database performance, and API reliability.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration across multiple services.
• Implement and review hotfixes, patches, and backend enhancements following engineering best practices.
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality before deployment.
• Collaborate with DevOps during deployment and production releases.
• Optimize AI pipeline performance, including data ingestion, embedding, retrieval, and Knowledge Base indexing.
• Work closely with QA, Project Managers, and other engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Document technical solutions, system improvements, and engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Informatics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer/Software Engineer, supported by employment references or work certificates.
• Active BNSP Senior Programmer Certification (mandatory).
• Strong experience developing backend applications using Node.js (NestJS) or Golang (Fiber).
• Proven experience building scalable backend systems, including performance optimization, microservices architecture, and service-to-service integration.
• Strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL (or equivalent), including database schema design and query optimization.
• Familiar with RESTful API development, version control (Git), and modern software development best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced development environment.
