IOS Developer (Banking Industry)

About the role

PT Abishar Technologies Indonesia is seeking an experienced iOS Developer (Banking Industry) to join our team on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role within our software development department, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of iOS applications specifically for the banking sector. Based in Jakarta Pusat, this position offers the opportunity to work on innovative financial technology solutions that directly impact the banking industry. You will be responsible for creating robust, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications whilst adhering to banking compliance standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality iOS applications for banking platforms, ensuring compliance with banking industry regulations and security standards

• Write clean, maintainable code using Swift or Objective-C, following established coding standards and best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless banking solutions

• Implement secure payment and transaction processing features within iOS applications

• Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and identify potential security vulnerabilities

• Debug and troubleshoot application issues, optimising performance and user experience

• Stay current with iOS development trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development practices

• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs relevant to banking operations and services

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and post-launch support

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3+ years of professional iOS development experience with a strong portfolio of published applications

• Proficiency in Swift and/or Objective-C programming languages

• Solid understanding of iOS architecture, design patterns (MVC, MVVM), and the iOS SDK

• Experience developing applications for the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services

• Familiarity with mobile security principles, data encryption, and secure coding practices

• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Understanding of iOS App Store submission processes and guidelines

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and continuous integration tools is advantageous
