About the role
PT Sunstar Engineering Indonesia is seeking an experienced ASST MANAGER PRODUCTION to join our team based in Cibitung District Bekasi West Java. This full-time role will be integral in overseeing the production operations and driving continuous improvements within our manufacturing facility.
What you'll be doing
Manage and oversee the daily production activities to ensure efficient and effective operations
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality and cost optimisation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and bottlenecks
Monitor production KPIs and metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management
Lead and develop the production team, providing coaching, training and performance management
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment to boost manufacturing capabilities
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management or supervisory role within the manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, quality control and continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with effective communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
