BRIQ Bistro is Hiring — Server
The Server is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive, professional, and personalized service. The role requires strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain service standards while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Main Responsibilities
Guest Interaction & Service
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverages.
- Make knowledgeable recommendations, including food and wine pairings.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system.
- Serve dishes and drinks following proper service sequence and etiquette.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Operational Excellence
- Prepare dining area before service (mise en place, table setup, polishing cutlery/glassware).
- Ensure tables are set according to semi fine dining standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen and bar teams.
- Process billing and payment accurately.
- Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
Teamwork & Standards
- Maintain grooming and uniform standards.
- Attend daily briefings and training sessions.
- Support colleagues during busy service periods.
- Uphold restaurant service SOP and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience as Server/Waiter in a restaurant.
- Experience in semi fine dining or upscale casual restaurant preferred.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Good knowledge of food, beverages, and wine service is an advantage.
- Familiar with POS system operation.
- Strong attention to detail and service etiquette.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and positive attitude.
- Well-groomed and professional appearance.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
