Responsibilities
• Plan and execute the procurement of spare parts, components, and materials for heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, dump trucks, cranes).
• Identify, evaluate, and develop qualified suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable supply and cost efficiency.
• Conduct price negotiations, quotation comparisons, and supplier evaluations to achieve the best value.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders (POs), contracts, and documentation according to company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Track and follow up on delivery schedules, ensuring on-time arrival and resolving any logistics or quality issues.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and mechanic teams to confirm technical specifications and part compatibility.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on price trends, new suppliers, and product developments.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and supplier performance evaluations.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company procurement policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field), Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Male or Female (Male Preferred)
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the heavy equipment, mining, or construction industry.
• Experience handling spare parts procurement for brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, or Volvo is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment components, spare parts specifications, and maintenance requirements.
• Proficient in procurement systems or ERP software (e.g., Odoo).
• Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Strong analytical and cost-control abilities.
• Familiar with import/export procedures, customs regulations, and logistics coordination (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and organized.
• Strong sense of integrity, accountability, and urgency.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Team player with good interpersonal and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Mandarin (Chinese) is required.
• HSK Level 4 certification is preferred.
