Data Crawler

We seek a meticulous and tech-savvy Data Crawler to join our company. The ideal candidate will extract data from various websites relevant to our sales and marketing campaigns.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Data Collection: Use tools and scripts to crawl websites, databases, and other online sources to extract relevant sales and marketing data.
• Data Cleaning: Ensure the accuracy and quality of the collected data by performing data cleaning and preprocessing tasks.
• Data Cleanup: Provide a clean list of collected data based on the requirements of the sales and marketing team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align data collection efforts with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: At least one (1) of experience in technical data crawling, web scraping, data analysis, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of data cleaning and pre-processing techniques.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data scraping and crawling.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data collection and analysis issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with web scraping tools like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles.

Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:

• Internet Connection:
• Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
• Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
• Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.

• Primary Device:
• Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
• Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
• A minimum of 8 GB RAM.

• Backup Device:
• Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
• Must be functional during power interruptions.

• A functioning webcam.
• A noise-canceling USB headset.
• A quiet, dedicated home office space.
• Peripherals and Workspace: A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
