Product Development Merchandiser – Fashion Apparel

INESSA is looking for a Merchandiser Apparel who is creative, detail-oriented, and ready to grow with a fast-growing fashion brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify the latest local and global fashion trends, including colors, fabrics, silhouettes, prints, and design details.

• Develop mood boards, seasonal concepts, and product assortments aligned with INESSA's brand identity.

• Collaborate closely with designers, garment manufacturers, and suppliers throughout the product development process.

• Prepare product costing and pricing analysis to ensure competitive pricing while achieving target margins.

• Manage product sampling and ensure all samples meet design, quality, and cost expectations.

• Negotiate prices, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ), and production terms with suppliers and manufacturers.

• Monitor production schedules to ensure products are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.

• Work cross-functionally with Production, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure products are market-ready.

• Analyze product performance, including best sellers and slow-moving items, and provide recommendations for future collections.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Apparel Merchandiser, Fashion Designer, or Product Development in the fashion industry.

• Strong fashion sense with a good understanding of the ready-to-wear market.

• Solid knowledge of garment production processes, costing, and product development.

• Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Able to work effectively under deadlines and achieve business targets.

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Fashion Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Passionate about fashion trends and actively follows industry updates through social media, fashion shows, and market research.

• Experience working with local fashion brands or fast-fashion companies.

• Familiar with local fabric suppliers and garment manufacturers.

• Strong visual taste with excellent attention to detail.

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM

• Saturday: 08:00 AM – 03:00 PM
