Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and food-passionate in B2B business, to drive business growth across food service, retail, corporate, and manufacturing channels. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder with a strong commercial mindset, deep interest in food and beverage trends, and the ability to identify opportunities that create value for customers and the business.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
· Achieve sales targets and profitability objectives across assigned B2B accounts.
· Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within food service, retail, hospitality, and industrial sectors.
· Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market penetration and customer acquisition.
· Build a healthy sales pipeline and manage opportunities from prospecting to closing.
Customer Relationship Management
· Develop strong relationships with key decision makers, including owners, purchasing managers, chefs, product developers, and category managers.
· Conduct regular customer visits to understand business needs and identify growth opportunities.
· Provide tailored product recommendations and business solutions to customers.
· Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term account retention.
Market & Industry Insights
· Stay up to date with food trends, consumer preferences, and market developments.
· Gather competitive intelligence and customer feedback to support product innovation and business strategy.
· Identify emerging opportunities within the food and beverage ecosystem.
Team & Sales Operations
· Supervise and support sales team members to achieve business objectives.
· Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and customer activities.
· Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless customer service.
· Prepare regular sales reports and business reviews.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales within the Food & Beverage industry.
· Experience handling key accounts, food service customers, distributors, or retail chains.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
· Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
· Ability to analyse customer needs and translate them into business opportunities.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred Candidate Profile
· A genuine foodie with strong curiosity about food, beverages, ingredients, culinary trends, and consumer behaviour.
· Enjoys exploring hotel, restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and emerging food concepts.
· Able to connect with chefs, baristas, bakers, and food entrepreneurs through a shared passion for food.
· Understands how food products create value for customers beyond price alone.
· Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness.
· Self-driven, adaptable, and results-oriented.
