It is responsible for developing energy trading and new energy businesses, supporting project implementation, strengthening partnerships with local enterprises, and facilitating operational coordination between China and Indonesia.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Mandarin Interpreter & Business Coordinator to support cross-border communication, business operations, and project coordination in the fields of new energy, battery materials, advanced materials, chemicals, and industrial trading. This role requires excellent interpretation skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to work effectively with multicultural teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional Mandarin–Indonesian interpretation during meetings, business negotiations, training sessions, client visits, and project discussions.
- Translate contracts, reports, presentations, emails, technical documents, and other business materials accurately and professionally.
- Coordinate communication between the China headquarters and local employees, government authorities, clients, suppliers, and business partners.
- Support daily business operations, including order follow-up, logistics coordination, delivery tracking, issue resolution, and project implementation.
- Prepare business documents, sales reports, inventory updates, project progress reports, market analysis, and customer feedback summaries.
- Assist with market research, exhibitions, business events, and customer visits as both an interpreter and business coordinator.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects to ensure efficient communication and smooth execution across teams.
- Perform additional administrative and operational tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia, both spoken and written.
- English proficiency is an advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent business interpretation skills with the ability to convey meaning accurately rather than translating word-for-word.
- Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced international environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willing to travel for business meetings, client visits, and project support when required.
