Job Summary
We are looking for a Security Network Operations Center (SNOC) Engineer (L2) to provide advanced monitoring, incident response, and infrastructure management for customer environments. You will be responsible for analyzing alerts, troubleshooting issues, performing remediation actions, and maintaining service excellence in a 24/7 operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Application Monitoring
Provide 24/7 monitoring and management of customer infrastructure, applications, and security alerts.
Monitor network, server, cloud, and endpoint alerts to identify issues and ensure prompt resolution or escalation.
Perform proactive monitoring to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
Incident Management & Response
Investigate infrastructure, network, and security incidents.
Perform first-response checks for compromised or affected systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents independently within assigned scope.
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors when required.
Execute remediation actions according to SOPs and operational standards.
Systems Administration
Manage Microsoft 365 environments, Active Directory user accounts, group memberships, and file/folder permissions.
Support Windows operating system administration and troubleshooting.
Assist with infrastructure maintenance and operational support activities.
Security & Compliance
Perform monthly IT system audits and identify non-compliant systems.
Conduct health checks on endpoint security, antivirus, patching, and malware protection platforms.
Monitor security events and support incident investigations.
Ensure operational activities comply with security and service management processes.
Documentation & Reporting
Document all incidents, alerts, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions in the ticketing and call tracking systems.
Maintain accurate and detailed incident records according to company standards.
Generate operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
Customer Service
Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and vendors during incident handling and resolution.
Requirements
Technical Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in NOC, SNOC, SOC, Helpdesk, Infrastructure Support, or related IT operations roles.
Hands-on experience with:
Firewalls
Wireless networking (Wi-Fi)
Network appliances
Windows Servers and Active Directory
Microsoft 365 Administration
Basic understanding of:
Cloud Computing
Cybersecurity concepts
Networking fundamentals
Incident management processes
Personal Attributes
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Curious mindset with a desire to investigate and understand root causes of issues.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Language
Professional English communication skills are required.
Ability to communicate effectively with international customers and stakeholders.
Working Arrangement
24/7 rotating shift schedule
