In this role, you’ll serve as a critical gatekeeper of risk quality, executing the underwriting process in strict alignment with corporate policies to evaluate exposures effectively and drive the achievement of the company’s profitable growth targets.
Responsibilities:
Review and execute underwriting processes for the Energy Onshore segment within designated authority limits and established procedures to ensure accurate and optimal risk assessment.
Request risk surveys from Risk Surveyors to identify any alignments or deviations between the documented data and the physical condition of the insured asset.
Monitor and execute reinsurance backup placements in compliance with applicable Terms & Conditions to optimize the utilization of allocated reinsurance capacity.
(Duplicate of Point 1) Review and execute underwriting processes for the Energy Onshore segment within designated authority limits and established procedures to ensure accurate and optimal risk assessment.
Calculate loss exposure based on specific policy terms and conditions within authorized limits to determine the potential liability under the policy coverage.
Analyze, evaluate, and draft proposals for updates to underwriting policies and guidelines to match changing market dynamics and business demands.
Analyze and prepare risk data reports to satisfy both reinsurance requirements and Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulatory reporting.
Analyze and draft terms and conditions for Cooperation Agreements (PKS) and other formal contractual agreements.
Design and propose program/project management frameworks to drive continuous process improvements within the department.
Conduct socialization and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance insurance literacy and understanding among clients, partners, the Insured, and internal stakeholders.
Manage risk acceptance and policy drafting while safeguarding the company’s subrogation rights, and provide technical insights to relevant functions to facilitate the subrogation recovery process.
Request risk matrices from Risk Engineers to ensure proper, prudent risk analysis for complex, non-simple objects of insurance.
Qualifications:
- Min. education of a Bachelor's degree (S1) in a relevant field of study.
- Has a minimum of four (4) years of work experience, particularly in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Preferably has at least two (2) years of experience in insurance technical.
- Preferably holds a AAAIK certification or an equivalent professional certification in the insurance field.
- Proficient in the use of computer applications to support sales activities and reporting.
- Possesses good English proficiency to support business communication and the understanding of business-related documents.
- Demonstrates strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills with both clients and internal stakeholders.
