We are looking for proven retail salespeople who can close, consult, and build relationships.

ABOUT SHIVALOKA

Shivaloka is a 17-year-old luxury sacred jewelry brand rooted in Bali, with distribution across high-end hotel boutiques, airport retail, and our flagship store in Ubud. Our jewelry is not mass-market — each piece carries spiritual lineage and is sold through deep, personalised consultation.

Our clients are international travellers, spiritual seekers, and collectors. The average transaction value is well above typical retail, and our top consultants consistently exceed their commission targets.


WHAT THIS ROLE IS ABOUT

You will be the primary sales force inside our Ubud flagship. Your success is measured in sales results — not just presence. We need someone who:

▸     Knows how to build trust with a complete stranger within minutes

▸     Can read a customer, identify their needs, and guide them to the right product

▸     Follows up — by WhatsApp, by relationship, by memory — until the sale closes

▸     Treats every transaction as a relationship, not a transaction

The spiritual and ritual elements of this role (daily puja, sacred product knowledge) are things we will train you in. What we cannot train is the drive to sell, the ability to connect, and the resilience to hit targets every month.


YOUR TARGETS & EARNING POTENTIAL

We are transparent about expectations because we want to attract professionals:

▸     Monthly individual sales targets (discussed at interview)

▸     Commission paid on personal sales performance — uncapped

▸     Monthly performance bonus for store-level achievement

▸     Top performers are eligible for the India Sacred Journey Pilgrimage reward

The best salespeople in this role earn significantly more than their base salary through commission. We do not cap your income — the more you sell, the more you earn.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Non-negotiable:

✓      Minimum 1–2 years experience in a sales role where you had personal targets

✓      Experience in luxury retail, hotel boutique, premium hospitality, wellness, or lifestyle brands

✓      Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

✓      Fluent spoken English (our customers are predominantly international guests)

✓      Strong communication and interpersonal skills — warm, confident, memorable

✓      Comfortable using POS systems and handling transactions accurately

Highly valued:

▸     Background in premium tourism, spa, or wellness sales

▸     Experience selling high-value individual items (jewelry, art, wellness packages)

▸     Openness to or existing knowledge of spiritual traditions, meditation, or Balinese culture

▸     Experience with WhatsApp-based follow-up or CRM-style relationship management


DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Consultation (Primary Focus):

▸     Welcome guests and initiate genuine conversations about their journey and intentions

▸     Guide customers through our product range using deep product knowledge and spiritual context

▸     Perform the Shivaloka Touch Ritual — a unique sensory consultation we train you in

▸     Close sales through relationship and resonance, not pressure

▸     Follow up with customers via WhatsApp post-visit to deepen the relationship and complete pending purchases

▸     Enrol guests in our Sacred Journey loyalty program

▸     Actively seek Google Reviews from satisfied guests

Operations (Supporting):

▸     Open and close the store according to Shivaloka's sacred protocols

▸     Perform daily ritual offerings and maintain the store altar and atmosphere

▸     Keep displays immaculate and organised

▸     Process transactions and manage stock accurately via HikeUp POS

▸     Support stock counts and incoming shipment checks
