Your Role

As a Process Engineer (CIE Plant), you will be responsible for optimizing plant performance, ensuring operational reliability, driving process improvements, and supporting safe and efficient production operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize CIE plant operations to achieve production and quality targets.

• Analyze process performance and identify improvement opportunities.

• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process-related issues.

• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Laboratory, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Monitor utility consumption, production efficiency, and operating costs.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce losses.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and HSE standards.

• Support preventive maintenance planning to maximize equipment reliability.

• Develop and coach production personnel to strengthen technical capabilities.

• Prepare and maintain operational reports, process documentation, and performance analysis.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in palm oil processing, edible oil, oleochemical, or chemical manufacturing industries.

• At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar role or as a Senior Production Supervisor.

• Strong knowledge of CIE plant operations, process optimization, mass balance, and production KPIs.

• Good understanding of cost control, utility optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety, food safety, and operational excellence.
