Science Teacher – Biology (Checkpoint, IGCSE & AS Level)
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Biology teacher to join our team, delivering high-quality instruction across Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and AS Level.
The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge and a passion for engaging students through both theoretical and practical learning. They will be confident in planning and delivering lessons that prepare students effectively for external examinations while fostering curiosity and independent thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Biology across Checkpoint, IGCSE, and AS Level in line with the Cambridge curriculum
Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities
Prepare students for internal and external assessments
Maintain strong classroom management and create a positive learning environment
Build respectful and supportive relationships with students
Organise and deliver practical experiments, including opportunities for student-led investigations
Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Contribute to the wider school community and collaborative planning
