Description
- Operate and drive transit mixer trucks to deliver concrete to construction sites.
- Ensure the adherence to safety protocols and procedures while on the road.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors to verify delivery schedules and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including amounts and customer signatures.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of driving experience, with a focus on commercial vehicles
- Skills and Competencies: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with local roadways
- Qualities and Traits: Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Responsibilities and Duties: Capable of lifting and moving equipment, as necessary
- Working Conditions: Must be able to work in all weather conditions and be available for overtime as required
