IT Security Engineer (SOC)

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

1–2 years of experience in IT Security, Security Operations, or a Security Analyst role.

Good understanding of networking and cybersecurity concepts.

Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems.

Experience with security monitoring, incident handling, and security troubleshooting.

Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, Antivirus, and SIEM.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Detail-oriented, proactive, and responsible.

Willing to work in shifts when required.

Cybersecurity certifications are a plus.

Monitor and maintain the company's IT security systems and infrastructure.

Manage and support security devices, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, Antivirus, and SIEM.

Perform user access management, including account creation, modification, deactivation, password resets, and access control.

Detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats and security incidents.

Conduct vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and support remediation activities.

Implement and maintain security operations and incident response processes.

Perform digital forensic investigations when required.

Maintain security configurations, documentation, and backup files.

Prepare regular security monitoring and incident reports.

Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to improve the organization's security posture.
