Position :  Event Recap Video Editor (Remote/WFH)

Got the skills to turn raw event footage into a cinematic, scroll-stopping recap video that hooks the audience until the very last second?

At Centauri Visuals, we are looking for a talented Event Video Editor who doesn't just know how to cut clips, but deeply understands visual aesthetics, perfect pacing, and the narrative flow of an event. If you have a massive passion for storytelling, video post-production, and are ready to collaborate on high-impact projects, we’d love to hear from you.

💻 WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Edit both short-form and long-form event videos according to the brief, guidelines, and Centauri Visuals' cinematic quality standards.
• Add motion graphics, mind-blowing transitions, color grading, music, sound effects (SFX), and epic visual effects (VFX).
• Research and stay ahead of the curve on visual styles, transitions, SFX, and editing trends that are currently hyping up the industry.
• Download raw assets and manage the post-production workflow from raw footage to the finest final render before the deadline.
• Stay open to feedback and handle revisions professionally
• Focus 100% on video editing only. No designing, no copywriting, no video uploading to social media, and no social media management required.

🔍 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience: Proven experience as an Event Video Editor for at least 2 years
• Location: Candidates residing in Malang are highly preferred.
• Language Skill: Minimum Intermediate English proficiency (Listening, Writing, and Reading).
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio or showreel
• Software Knowledge: Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Storytelling: Ability to build a compelling narrative, meaning, and emotional impact in every event project.
• Technical Skill: High-speed editing capabilities while maintaining a sharp attention to detail.
• Editing Style: Deep understanding of modern visual effects and event video styles.
• Communication: Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Device: Have a powerful PC/Laptop for light or heavy Video Editing (Max RAW clip can be 4k resolution 10-bit 4.2.2) and have plenty of storage
• Connection: Have a 300mbps or higher Wi-Fi connection for downloading all the source
