Technical Support National Fish Feed

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Support National Fish Feed professional to join PT Indonesia Evergreen Pasuruan in a full-time capacity. Based in Jawa Timur, this role is integral to providing technical expertise and support across our fish feed operations nationwide. You will serve as a bridge between our production facilities, distribution networks, and customers, ensuring optimal product performance and customer satisfaction. This position is critical to maintaining our reputation as a leading provider of aquaculture solutions and supporting the growth of the Indonesian aquaculture industry.

Key responsibilities

1. Provide technical guidance and support to fish farmers and aquaculture practitioners regarding optimal fish feed utilisation and application

2. Conduct field visits to customer facilities to assess feed performance, water quality, and overall aquaculture management practices

3. Troubleshoot feeding-related issues and recommend solutions to improve feed conversion ratios and fish health outcomes

4. Develop and deliver training programmes to distributors, retailers, and end-users on best practices in fish nutrition and feed management

5. Collect and analyse data from the field to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for product improvement

6. Collaborate with the research and development team to communicate customer feedback and field observations

7. Prepare technical reports and documentation on feed performance and customer recommendations

8. Support the sales team with technical information to aid in customer acquisition and retention

9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, fish species requirements, and aquaculture best practices

10. Respond promptly to customer enquiries and technical concerns related to fish feed products

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Animal Science, Biology, or a related discipline

2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fish feed, aquaculture, or a related technical support role

3. Strong knowledge of fish nutrition, feed formulation, and aquaculture management practices

4. Demonstrated understanding of various fish species, their nutritional requirements, and growth parameters

5. Experience conducting field assessments and providing practical technical solutions to farmers

6. Excellent communication skills in Indonesian and English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences

7. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing

8. Willingness to travel frequently within Java and potentially to other regions of Indonesia

9. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer support

10. Knowledge of water quality parameters and their relationship to fish health and feed performance is advantageous
