Head Bar Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Head Bartender, Senior Bartender, or similar leadership role in a bar, restaurant, lounge, or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, coffee, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Proven experience in leading and supervising bar staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ability to maintain high standards of beverage quality, presentation, and guest service.
• Experienced in inventory management, stock control, ordering, and beverage cost monitoring.
• Knowledge of bar operations, hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to create and develop beverage menus and signature drinks aligned with the brand concept.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Proficient in POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in premium/high-end bars, restaurants, beach clubs, or luxury hospitality venues.
• Bartending, mixology, or beverage-related certifications are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of beverage trends, customer preferences, and upselling techniques.
• Experience in opening new outlets and implementing bar SOPs is highly preferred.
