L1 Engineer - Application & Container

Key Responsibilities        : 

• Conduct routine monitoring of application health and container platforms (such as Kubernetes or OpenShift) using monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack).

• Handle Service Requests: Serve as the first point of contact for handling service requests from users or the development team through the ticketing system.

• Perform initial troubleshooting procedures, such as restarting services or redeploying pods, in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Collect and manage application logs on a regular basis for audit and technical analysis purposes.

• Conduct an initial review of logs when errors occur to expedite the problem-identification process.

• Identify complex issues that cannot be resolved at the L1 level and escalate them to the L2 team with complete technical documentation.

Requirements    :

• Minimum Diploma/Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Informatics Engineering, or a relevant IT field

• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in application support, entry-level DevOps or similar roles. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and for fresh graduates, a minimum GPA 3.00 is required.

• Well-known basic knowledge of Linux.

• Well-known basic understanding of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with web/app servers (e.g., Nginx, Tomcat).

• English Proficiency: Must be able to read technical documents (manuals) and write incident chronology reports in English.

• Willing to work in 24/7 shifts and able to adapt quickly to new technologies.

• Willing to be assigned to customer sites.

• Strong analytical skills to handle high-pressure situations and resolve issues rapidly.

• This role requires acceptance of a contract-based employment status.
