Job Description:
Review project contracts, subcontracts, and SPK (Surat Perintah Kerja) to ensure compliance with applicable laws and project requirements.
Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and legal documents, including agreements related to EPC and LNG projects (e.g., Engineering, Procurement, and Construction agreements, Supply Contracts, etc.).
Prepare, review, and manage bid bonds, performance bonds, and other guarantees to ensure they comply with project and regulatory requirements.
Provide legal advice and guidance on regulatory issues, including permits, licenses, environmental compliance, and other legal matters in the EPC and LNG sectors.
Ensure the company’s legal interests are protected in all contractual negotiations and project agreements.
Conduct due diligence on project contracts, legal risks, and potential liabilities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the EPC and LNG industries.
Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to ensure all legal requirements are met.
Handle claims, disputes, and litigation as required, while minimizing legal risks and protecting the company’s interests.
Advise on legal aspects of corporate governance, risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in legal roles, ideally within EPC, construction, or LNG sectors.
Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, including FIDIC, NEC, and other standard contract forms.
Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating complex contracts in the construction and LNG industries.
Familiarity with bid bonds, performance bonds, and other forms of guarantees common in the EPC industry.
Good understanding of local and international laws applicable to LNG projects (e.g., environmental, safety, regulatory compliance).
Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks in contracts and project execution.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
