Instructional Designer

About the Role:

Are you passionate about creating engaging and impactful digital learning experiences? Do you enjoy combining instructional design, technology, and Generative AI to transform how people learn? We’re looking for a talented Instructional Designer to join our team and help shape engaging, innovative learning solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong instructional design expertise, excellent English communication skills, and digital fluency. Industry experience or background knowledge in Food & Beverage (F&B), Service industries, or Digital skills training will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Instructional Design & Content Development - ● Design and develop engaging digital learning content (e learning modules, microlearning, videos, and interactive materials) ● Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create learner-centric experiences ● Transform subject matter expert (SME) content into structured, impactful learning programs

2. Generative AI Integration - ● Leverage Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, content generators, AI media tools) to: ● Develop course materials, scripts, and assessments ● Create multimedia content (visuals, voiceovers, simulations) ○ Enhance personalization and learner engagement ● Continuously explore and integrate new AI tools to improve efficiency and innovation

3. Digital Learning Delivery - ● Optimize courses for our LMS platform and digital delivery channels ● Ensure content is interactive, accessible, and aligned with modern learning trends ● Incorporate multimedia and digital tools to improve knowledge retention

4. Content Relevance & Industry Alignment - ● Ensure real-world relevance and practical application of course content in the industry

5. Quality & Continuous Improvement - ● Review and update learning materials based on feedback and data insights ● Analyze learner engagement and performance metrics to improve course effectiveness

Key Requirements Skills & Experience:

● Proven experience as an Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer ● Strong command of English (written & spoken) ● Proficiency in digital tools (Articulate, Captivate, Canva, video editing, etc.) ● Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools for content creation ● Ability to contextualize learning content to industry needs ● Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely.

Core Competencies:

● Creative thinking and storytelling ability ● Strong attention to detail and quality ● Ability to work independently ● Ability for effective stakeholder collaboration and online communication (Emails, Teams, Calls, etc).

Preferred Qualifications:

● Master's degree in Educational Technology ● Knowledge of adult learning principles and competency based training ● Familiarity with LMS platforms ● Strong digital and AI skills as well as interest in multimedia production (video, animation, voiceover tools).
